dye my singlets DIY

i have bought a sling bag from Bac Ha, Vietnam for my sister, it's in dark purple color and really pretty... but the H'mong ppl use dye extracted from plant, so they tend to come off easily. after using it for the first time yesterday, the purple color "kena" her shirt and hands... so she has decided to soak the bag in water.... after it has been soaked for few hours, she hanged the bag to dry, and there lied a whole bucket of purple water... so what to do with the water, my sister suggested that i dye my singlets that turned a bit yellow and old... and i agreed.... hehehe... here comes the result!!!!

the bag...

the singlets...

the one at the back i did nothing... the front one i tied a few rubber bands here and there, so some circle patterns appeared...
take a closer look...

yeah... nice hor, now i got new singlets to wear liao!!! :P

The outcomes!!! :)

kekeke, finally i've harvested my pear enzyme and pineapple+kiwi enzyme!
this is the outcome of the pear enzyme:

Now, the remainders of the enzyme, the fruits can also be eaten, in fact, they are quite nice, strong "liquor" smell, and very "crunchy" leh... no joke!

Then, this is the pineapple+kiwi enzyme outcome... surprisingly for the huge bottle of enzyme, only a little more than half bottle outcome nia... sigh...

But the fruits hor kinda smelly... so i threw them liao...
So, how's the taste of the drink...

SWEET!!!

but after you dillute with water and put ice cubes in... which is roughly 1 part enzyme + 4 parts water... they are nectar from heaven!!! so nice and refreshing!!

My whole family like it, my relatives like it, my friends like it!!!

YUM YUM!!!

now, i have done the red dragon fruit enzyme!!
didn't have to wait long, just after a minute i sealed the bottle, can see juice coming out liao...

after 2 days...

YUM YUM.... can't wait!!! :P

My first kid...

My first kid is from Yunnan, China. He is a 9 years old boy with single parent, his mom is a farmer, he has a sister. For a 9 yo boy, he hasn't attended school yet, which is a bit sad. I just hope that with the RM50 i sponsor every month through World Vision, he will have a chance to get away from his daily chores at the farm, and finally have a chance to go to school and learn. Today when i received this envelope from World Vision, after seeing the photo with description of this little boy with no smile but a little anger display on his face, i have this feeling that cannot be explained... part relief, part happy, part sad... but it helps me to forgot the little little problems i faced at uni this morning, because somehow my trouble can be overcome and not really that important. no wonder they say by helping others, you help yourself too. going to write him a letter to communicate, and maybe send him postcard, color pencils and ruler. i start to feel like a dad. :P
